As a Valet, you will:
  • Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times
  • Greet guests promptly upon arrival and departure
  • Assist guests with luggage as needed
  • Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in a timely manner
  • Drive vehicles carefully and follow all traffic laws and company procedures
  • Record vehicle information accurately and issue claim tickets
  • Monitor and maintain an organized and safe parking area
  • Communicate clearly with guests and team members to ensure smooth operations
  • Respond quickly to guest questions and provide information about hotel services and local attractions
  • Report any vehicle damage, safety concerns, or incidents immediately to management
  • Follow company safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
  • Protect company and guest assets
  • Develop relationships with all departments and communicate regularly
To be a successful Valet, you need:

  • Have strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to concerns of other employees and guests.
  • Clean professional appearance.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
Minimum Requirements: The Valet role requires standing for long periods of time, or entire shifts. Walk, run, and move quickly between the hotel entrance and parking areas. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance. Enter and exit various vehicle types repeatedly throughout the shift. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
