Tech SME Telecom and Network Technician

Work Location: DDOT 55 M Street SE, Suite 400, Washington, DC 20003

Position Type: Contract

Work Schedule: Hybrid (Local DMV Candidates Only)

Location Requirement: Candidates must reside in Washington DC, Maryland, or Virginia

Key Responsibilities Kaseya Administration

• Administer and maintain the Kaseya IT Management Platform.

• Configure, deploy, and manage Kaseya policies across enterprise endpoints.

• Monitor device health, patch compliance, software updates, and system performance.

• Investigate and resolve Kaseya-related issues and alerts.

• Collaborate with platform owners and support teams to optimize endpoint management processes.

• Ensure endpoint devices comply with organizational IT standards and security policies.

Oomnitza Administration & Integrations

• Manage and maintain Oomnitza asset management integrations.

• Integrate Oomnitza with enterprise systems including Kaseya, Microsoft Intune, Absolute, and other IT platforms.

• Maintain asset inventory accuracy and lifecycle management processes.

• Generate operational dashboards, compliance reports, and asset utilization metrics.

• Support asset governance and reporting initiatives.

Microsoft Intune Administration

• Administer and support Microsoft Intune endpoint management solutions.

• Configure and maintain Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) policies.

• Manage device enrollment, compliance policies, security baselines, and conditional access controls.

• Deploy applications, software updates, and security configurations through Intune.

• Troubleshoot enrollment, synchronization, and compliance issues.

• Implement secure endpoint management practices including:

  • Device Encryption

  • Remote Wipe

  • Conditional Access

  • Compliance Enforcement

  • Endpoint Security Controls

Technical Support & Endpoint Services

• Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and endpoint technologies.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for endpoint-related technical issues.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and access-related issues.

• Support device provisioning, imaging, deployment, and configuration activities.

• Manage service tickets and ensure timely issue resolution.

• Escalate complex technical issues when appropriate and coordinate resolution efforts.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise endpoint management environments.

• Hands-on experience administering Kaseya or similar endpoint management platforms.

• Strong experience with Microsoft Intune administration and configuration.

• Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM).

• Experience supporting enterprise asset management platforms such as Oomnitza.

• Knowledge of endpoint security, compliance, and device lifecycle management.

• Experience with Windows operating systems and enterprise desktop support.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience managing enterprise hardware and software deployments.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating enterprise asset management and endpoint management platforms.

• Familiarity with Absolute, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and Azure Active Directory.

• Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.

• Knowledge of enterprise networking and telecommunications environments.

• Experience supporting government or public-sector organizations.

• Relevant certifications such as:

  • Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate

  • Microsoft Intune Certifications

  • CompTIA A+

  • CompTIA Network+

  • CompTIA Security+

  • ITIL Foundation
