Deputy CFO
Location: Wilmington NC
Tribute Companies is seeking a Deputy CFO to serve as a strategic partner to the CFO and be involved with all accounting finance and legal functions of all divisions of the company: Construction Development and Property Management.
Areas of Responsibility
Accounting : Play a central role in the development and oversight of divisional accounting processes as performed by accounting staff to include TB review periodic reporting and projections. Direct responsibility for global corporate forecasting and financial analysis. Lead the development review and ongoing enhancement of internal control processes across the company.
Finance : Lead and oversee financial due diligence related to real estate transactions to include sales/acquisitions financing investing and leasing.
Legal : Work with outside legal counsel in drafting and reviewing all legal documents to include real estate purchase and sale contracts commercial leases and any and all agreements related to real estate construction and development.
Tax : Work with outside tax advisors and preparers on annual tax compliance work and projections. Develop and recommend tax-advantaged strategies in the real estate realm.
What we are looking for
The right candidate will bring a strong mix of finance and accounting experience reporting discipline and practicality. This person should be comfortable working with senior leadership as well as key outside professionals while also taking ownership of day-to-day accounting and reporting functions.
Candidates should have :
Experience with Yardi Premier or similar systems is strongly preferred. Familiarity with real estate construction development and management is preferred. Experience helping accounting teams modernize legacy processes will be especially relevant.

Benefits:
Pay : The pay for this opportunity can vary and may range anywhere from $150000 to $250000 annually. The base compensation rate will vary based on education experience skills and geographic location as applicable.
