Low-Volt Tech
Job description
· Minimum 2yrs experience with low-voltage installations, including, but not limited to: data/comm, fiber, HVAC controls, Fire Alarm, Security, Access Control.
· Demonstrate knowledge of products and materials, installation techniques, and understanding of drawings and schematics.
· Communicate with PM/Foreman about daily/weekly tasks.
· Be motivated and proactive, with ability to plan and execute tasks on your own.
· Interact with other Trades in a professional manner.
· Show up Prepared (have proper tools & PPE the project calls for), be early, and have a good attitude.
· Actively be involved with jobsite processes to help management anticipate and overcome potential conflicts or work flow issues.
· Work in a safe manner and maintain a safe and clean work site. Maintain an organized material storage area.
· Invest time outside of work to gain knowledge and understanding of the Trade. Use the resources available to you further your career.
· At all times, present a professional appearance to customers, other trades, and the Public. This includes language, proper attire, vehicle cleanliness, jobsite presentation, and care of JEC and others’ tools, equipment,
materials, and property.
· Create Career goals for yourself. i.e. certifications, licensing, classes.
