Family Law Attorney Position Overview : We are seeking a talented and experienced Family Law Attorney to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an attorney with 1+ years of experience in family law to handle a diverse caseload, provide expert legal advice, and represent clients in both contentious and non-contentious family matters.
Key Responsibilities :
* Manage a full caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, prenuptial agreements, and domestic violence cases.
* Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring they understand their rights and options.
* Prepare and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, and discovery requests.
* Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
* Negotiate settlements and draft agreements that align with client objectives.
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.
* Collaborate with team members and support staff to ensure efficient case management and client service.
* Stay current on legal developments and trends in family law to provide the best possible representation.
Qualifications :
* 1+ Years experience in litigation preferred.
* Strong understanding of family law principles, including divorce, custody, child support, and related issues.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to handle complex and high-stakes family law cases.
* Ability to manage a busy caseload with attention to detail and deadlines.
* Strong negotiation and litigation skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
* J.D. from an accredited law school.
* Licensed in CA in good standing.
