BIM Manager - HVAC & Refrigeration (Mechanical Construction)
A well-respected, growing Mechanical Engineering & Construction firm is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead HVAC and refrigeration modeling efforts on complex commercial projects.

Position Responsibilities

Lead and/or develop BIM/VDC models for HVAC, refrigeration, piping, and plumbing systems

Perform clash detection and coordination with architectural, structural, and other MEP trades

Manage composite model files, cleanup, title blocks, viewports, tagging, and dimensioning

Detail and model HVAC/refrigeration systems accurately for fabrication and installation

Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and trade partners

Participate in coordination meetings and occasional job site visits

Promote and maintain a strong safety-first mindset on all projects

Required Experience & Background

Strong ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications, and construction standards

10+ years total experience in BIM/VDC with a focus on commercial HVAC and HVAC/R

Hands-on experience with:

Chilled water and condenser water systems

Large commercial HVAC systems

Hospital, university, courthouse, condo, and institutional projects

Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks , and Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)

Working knowledge of mechanical and plumbing codes and jobsite safety requirements

Experience in HVAC, piping, plumbing, and/or sheet metal BIM environments
