I called Detective Services after I decided to find my biological father. I had spent the last 13 years thinking that I would never find him because all the information I had, was his name, a possible job and an approximate age, but I had gotten to the point where I had to at least try. 

My first point of contact was Lisa, she was professional, friendly and I didn't feel judged at all. I then spoke to Mark and he explained how they go about their job and he was very positive and understanding. 

Once I decided to go ahead, I was assigned a case manager as my main point of contact. I was given updates everyday. I felt like the team at Detective Services were as invested in the outcome as I was. 

They were positive the entire time and they worked so hard to help me. In 4 days he managed to not only find my biological dad, but my two biological aunties and a grandmother.

I have since then spoken to both my aunties and biological father. It was incredibly surreal. I also have plans to meet him when we are in the same state in a couple of months. 

I would use Detective Services again, and I would recommend them to anyone.
