Job Description

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience
• Over 5 years in cyber security
• At least 3 years with Splunk Enterprise Security
• Familiarity with Unix, Linux, and Windows operating systems for security integration
• Experience navigating accreditation processes and ICD 503 standards
• Background in network documentation related to security compliance, configuration management, and patching
• Valid DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III certification
• Preferred: Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Java, and various analytical tools
• Preferred: Advanced Splunk certifications including Architect or Consultant, and IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) experience
• Preferred: Cribl Engineer Certification with experience in security and operational use cases
• Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required

• Overseeing the daily operations of a large Splunk environment, addressing and resolving data collection challenges to maintain system integrity
• Installing and managing both supported and unsupported Splunk Add-ons for various data sources, and performing API integrations
• Creating detailed deployment documentation to outline specifications, methods, and architectural considerations
• Rapidly designing and deploying forwarders with centralized configuration management using the Splunk Deployment Server
• Managing Knowledge Object Management, including Common Information Model (CIM) tuning to ensure data accuracy
• Collaborating with stakeholders to guarantee systems meet all operational requirements
• Proposing and implementing approved process and policy enhancements to strengthen cyber defense capabilities
