As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Unit in Lees Summit MO you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and this dynamic role you will support patients staff and visitors while reflecting our values of teamwork integrity reliability and a people-first culture.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff patients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm professional and problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings parking areas entrances and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity hazards and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols while assisting with directions visitor inquiries and general support needs.
• Support hospital and clinic operations by communicating with site contacts observing for unsecured areas or suspicious behavior and following post orders for routine and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting as required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
