RF Engineer

Location: Las Vegas| Travel: 25–50%

Boingo Wireless is hiring an experienced RF Engineer for our DAS system design team, working on high-profile venues like stadiums and commercial buildings. Our Solutions Engineering team uses the latest tools and technology and works collaboratively to cover a growing list of potential clients becoming Boingo venues. 

What You’ll Do

• Design end-to-end DAS networks (cellular & public safety) using iBwave for in-building and stadium deployments.
• Conduct RF site surveys, analyze data, and translate findings into scalable designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, PMO, Ops, Engineering) to define scope and ensure constructability.
• Optimize network performance using simulation tools and real-world data.
• Stay current with carrier requirements and OEM updates (Commscope, Corning, JMA, ADRF, Solid).
• Produce close-out packages, submittals, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with local AHJ codes and project specs.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of DAS design experience (iDAS, DRAN)
• iBwave Level 1+ certification.
• Strong grasp of RF link budgets, propagation models, and wireless technologies (3G–5G, mmWave, CBRS, PS).
• Hands-on experience with OEMs like Ericsson, Nokia, or Samsung.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD is a plus.
• Excellent client engagement and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
