Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and alert Overnight Security Staff member to provide a safe and secure environment for residents in our independent senior living community. This is a part-time position working overnight shifts on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). The ideal candidate is responsible, observant, and comfortable working independently in a quiet setting.

Our community is looking for Security  to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct hourly perimeter walks of the apartment complex to ensure safety and security
• Monitor the property and remain alert throughout the shift
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist residents as needed
• Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or incidents
• Address unauthorized individuals on the property, including occasionally asking homeless individuals to vacate
• Complete incident reports and communicate any concerns to management
• Remain stationed indoors between scheduled rounds

Qualifications:

• Ability to stay awake, alert, and attentive during overnight hours
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to walk the property hourly and respond quickly to situations
• Prior security or related experience preferred but not required

This position is generally quiet but requires a reliable individual who can respond calmly and effectively when situations arise.
