Your Specific Responsibilities:
The incumbent in this position is the Positive Youth Development Program Coordinator and reports to the Operations & Management Consultant Manager – SES. Incumbent is responsible for the completion, review, and oversight of monthly reports, budget and is actively involved in providing education and activities in the community and in a school setting for middle and high school aged students. The incumbent will exhibit an attitude of friendliness and customer service towards all clients, including youth, parents/guardians and community members as well as act respectfully and courteously to fellow employees. The individual will be required to use discretion in managing confidential informaton and is responsible for the data sets under his/her control. Incumbent uses knowledge of quality improvement (QI) methods and processes to work with other staff to help identify opportunities for improvement and develop a culture of quality within DOH Wakulla; assists in improvement projects, as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum - Valid Florida Driver's License. Must be willing and able to work occasional nights and weekends for community/school-based events. Experience and comfortable with public speaking. Must be comfortable addressing sensitive topics associated with positive youth development.
Preferred - Experience presenting to various age groups. Experience planning and organizing community events. Experience managing expendiures within a set budget. Experience facilitating educational classes to youth groups.
