Join us!The Family Office Consultant ("FO Consultant") is a senior specialist within the Private Bank's Family Office Solutions team responsible for advising ultra-high-net-worth families on the formation, design, governance, and evolution of their family offices. Working in close partnership with the Family Office Strategist, the FO Consultant brings deep expertise in family office operating models, governance structures, family enterprise dynamics, succession planning, and organizational design to help families navigate complexity and build sustainable multi-generational enterprises.
The FO Consultant serves as a trusted advisor to family principals, family executives, and professional advisors, helping clients evaluate whether a family office is appropriate, define the optimal structure, establish governance frameworks, clarify decision-making processes, and implement best practices that align with family objectives and values. While the Family Office Strategist leads overall business development and coordination of the broader Bank of America platform, the FO Consultant provides specialized advisory expertise in the organizational and governance aspects of family offices.
This role requires a highly consultative professional who can facilitate sensitive family discussions, navigate complex family dynamics, develop actionable recommendations, and influence stakeholders across multiple generations. Success requires a blend of strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, executive presence, and deep knowledge of leading family office practices.
