We are looking for an Entry Level Structural/ Jr. Engineer to join our team who is excited about enabling the heart of our clients’ business.
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing team focused primarily on Federal delivery yet expanding into private sector client space. In this position you’ll work on projects ranging from the design of new, multi-building complexes to full-scale renovations of historic structures.
As part of this team, you will perform increasingly complex calculations and analysis as the structural design is developed, and learn to work with our Designers to get the structural requirements communicated on paper and in the model. You will develop a solid foundation in the fundamentals of Structural Engineering, gaining experience in multiple subject areas, and learning how Structural design integrates with and impacts other disciplines. You will also develop understanding of principles of analysis and design of vertical and lateral structural systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards. With mentorship and guidance from our Professional Engineers and technical experts, you will grow to become an integral member of the design team, counted on to assist in the performance of structural analysis and design for our projects.
To be successful in this position you will need strong communication and interpersonal skills as you work closely with your Structural Lead, Project Managers, Professional Engineers, and Designers across different disciplines. The ideal candidate will exhibit a high level of attention to detail and quality control, being committed to checking their own work and reaching out to peers and seniors for guidance when questions arise. As a member of our team, you must be ready for the responsibility of managing your own workload. Meeting commitments and taking ownership of your portion of the structural scope, reliably working to meet schedule, budget, and quality requirements.You will be given as much responsibility as you are willing to take, and your opportunities for career growth will be limited only by your own motivation, capabilities, and attitude.

The base salary range for this position is $65,000.00 to $95,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
