Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and personable Community Outreach Assistant to join our growing team. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in building a career in community outreach, public relations, nonprofit support, event coordination, marketing, and customer engagement .

As a Community Outreach Assistant, you will help strengthen community relationships, support outreach initiatives, and assist with promotional events and engagement campaigns. You’ll work closely with outreach coordinators and marketing teams to help increase community awareness, build partnerships, and create meaningful public interactions.

No previous experience required — paid training provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and executing community outreach campaigns and public engagement initiatives
  • Represent the organization professionally at community events, outreach programs, and promotional activities
  • Build positive relationships with community members, local organizations, and event attendees
  • Help coordinate outreach events, educational programs, and awareness campaigns
  • Support event logistics, scheduling, setup, registration, and on-site coordination
  • Distribute marketing materials and provide information about programs, services, and initiatives
  • Gather community feedback and engagement insights to support future outreach strategies
  • Collaborate with outreach and marketing teams to improve community participation and brand visibility
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and energetic presence during all outreach activities
