At Moove AV, we don’t just manage fleets; we operate the critical infrastructure that makes autonomous transportation a reality. As a premier partner to AV industry pioneers, we manage high-tech autonomous vehicle (AV) depots where precision, uptime, and—above all—safety are the benchmarks of our success.
Operating at the intersection of cutting-edge robotics and large-scale logistics, we are expanding globally to redefine fleet commercialization.
We are seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Operations Manager (AVOM) for Fleet Development and Readiness (FD&R) to own fleet health from end to end. In this role, you will not just monitor vehicles—you will ensure every unit that leaves the depot is diagnosed, deployment-ready, and performing to standard.
You will serve as the central node connecting diagnostic teams, product engineers, ride-hail operations, and vendor partners. As the leader for the FD&R team, you will drive FD&R performance, optimize workflow distribution, and build the culture of continuous improvement that keeps our fleet safe and reliable. Your goal is to maximize vehicles in service while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
Fleet Health & Deployment Strategy
Strategic Planning: Working closely with the General Manager, develop and implement strategies for fleet health enhancement in line with strategic goals and tech advancements.
Deployment Readiness: Ensure the fleet is ready for deployment, including conducting readiness assessments, site and fleet performance evaluations, and best practice implementation.
Technical Leadership: Lead technical initiatives and diagnostic methodologies to maintain and enhance vehicle performance/fleet health, enable predictive maintenance and upgrades, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Performance Analytics: Analyze fleet performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation.
KPI Monitoring: Monitor KPIs and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Product Integration: Work closely with product teams and other Ride Hailing Operations managers to streamline processes and improve fleet performance.
Fleet Coordination: Work with AVOMs in Ride Hail Operations to maximize vehicles in service.
Team Leadership
People Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team, acting as a coach to other team members, ensuring adequate staffing at all times and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Vendor & Partner Management
Third-Party Oversight: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners, ensuring across-the-board performance standards and fleet development.
Required:
Experience: 5+ years of experience in fleet maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field. AV experience is greatly preferred.
Leadership: Experience in leading and developing vehicle technicians in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive vehicle systems and related infrastructure.
Project Management: Proven project management skills with a track record of successful execution.
Operational Expertise: Experience triaging work orders and managing vehicle flow among partners.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Google Workspace Suite
Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Located in Las Vegas, NV and able to work onsite daily.
Availability and willingness to work outside of standard business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as fleet operations require.
Preferred:
