Position: Accounting Clerk

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk.

Job Summary:

As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our company's financial records. You will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and clerical tasks, including but not limited to, data entry, reconciling accounts, and processing invoices. This is a full-time position with room for growth within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process and record invoices, receipts, and payments

- Reconcile bank and credit card statements

- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks

- Maintain and update financial records and databases

- Prepare financial reports as needed

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing and payment inquiries

- Perform general administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent, with some college coursework in accounting or related field preferred

- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
