Job Description

Position: Accounting Clerk

Job Type: (Remote)

Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team on a full-time basis. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

- Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable

- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and purchase orders

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

- Prepare financial reports and analyze data for accuracy

- Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve any discrepancies

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

- Monitor and track expenses and prepare expense reports

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

- Other administrative tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred

- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software (Quickbooks, Peachtree, etc.)

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
